How long do free links last?

Free links expire after 24 hours and are limited to 25 downloads. After that, the file is permanently deleted.

How do I keep a link forever?

After uploading, click "Keep forever — $4." Your link becomes permanent with unlimited downloads.

What file types can I upload?

Any file type. PDFs, images, ZIPs, documents — anything up to 500MB.

Do I need an account?

No. Free uploads require no account. Paid links use your email (via Stripe or Google) so you can manage your files later.

Can I delete a paid file?

Yes. Sign in at shareth.is/auth and go to your manage page. You can delete any file at any time.

How do I get a QR code?

Every link gets a free QR code. Click "Download QR code" after uploading or from your manage page.

Is my file encrypted?

Files are encrypted in transit (HTTPS) and stored on Cloudflare R2. We don't offer end-to-end encryption.

Can I get a refund?

Payments are non-refundable. You're paying for permanent hosting, which begins immediately.

What happens if I upload a file over 50MB?

Files over 50MB require a paid link ($4). You'll be told this before the upload starts — no surprises.

Is there a download limit?

Free links: 25 downloads. Paid links: unlimited.

Who can see my file?

Anyone with the link. Links are not indexed by search engines and are not guessable, but they are not password-protected.

Can I share a link with multiple people?

Yes. Share the link or QR code with as many people as you want.
